Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actor who is known for her roles as lead actress on a number of TV shows, as well as her powerhouse acting in films. The actress is popular on Canadian and American Television. Emily became interested in the acting profession when she was just 12. When she was 12, Emily visited her elder sister Katie in the film studio. When Emily realized her love of acting, she enrolled in training in acting classes and went to auditions. The first time she was cast, she appeared in commercials for a few minutes before getting a part on the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You Are You Scared of Darkness? One scene in which she appeared without speaking even a single word. When she was fifteen, Emily made her big breakthrough after she was made a regular of the WB television program Glory Days. Emily's role in the WB show Glory Days that was cancelled 9 episodes later, drew the attention and interest of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Also a ballet dancer and a photographer Emily was once listed by Teen as one of the most popular actresses under the age of twenty. In Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 placed Emily at number 51.
