Julia Fiona Roberts, born October 28, 1967 on the 28th of October, 1967 in Atlanta with Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is fourth in the Roberts generation to reside in Atlanta, beginning with her great-grandfather who was a farmer John Pendleton Roberts. In the early years of his life his father became obsessed by the theatre. When he was a student at Emory University he appeared in numerous productions in and outside of campus. He joined the Air Force and while stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi, he appeared in a play together with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, the couple married and their child Eric Anthony was born. Walter along with his wife quit the Air Force in the year 1957 and enrolled Walter as a student at Tulane University. Walter was hired to work for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to be a part of the production team for Bum Bum and His Buddies in Decatur Georgia. In 1964 Walter along with Betty Lou began production on the local Saturday morning children's television program known as Bum Bum and His Buddies that they funded their own. The Actors and Writers Workshop was created in the year 1964 and ran for six years. During this time they were blessed with two additional children Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965, in 1965 and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
